History
Hamlin Electric Company is a union contractor for electrical power line construction that has been headquartered in Fort Morgan, Colorado since 1949. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. Our company’s main focus is quality performance for our customer! We specialize in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substation construction and maintenance, and alternative energy, as well as emergency and storm repair.
In June of 2000, Hamlin Electric Company was acquired by Construction Services Group, a division of MDU Resources Group, Inc., of Bismarck, North Dakota. Construction Services Group has united a group of superior companies with the capability to join forces in order to offer additional diversified resources and synergies.
Since our beginning, our clientele has included rural utilities, municipalities, and investor owned utilities in the states of Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Missouri, Utah, and Wyoming. Recently, Hamlin Electric Company has become licensed in Arizona, California, and Washington, expanding our expertise and services in the transmission marketplace. We have also serviced customers in multiple states while performing emergency and storm restorations, such as Arkansas and Texas during Hurricane Ike.
